Simulated Pulmonary Surfactant for Respiratory Device Testing – ISO 18562-3 Compliant
Testonic® Artificial Lung Surfactant is a lipid-protein based simulation fluid formulated for the evaluation of ventilators, nebulizers, endotracheal tubes, and other respiratory devices in accordance with ISO 18562-3. Designed to mimic the physicochemical behavior of natural pulmonary surfactant in alveoli, it provides a reliable medium for VOC (volatile organic compound) emission testing, surface interaction analysis, and biocompatibility studies of breathing gas pathways.
Application Areas
-
VOC emission testing for respiratory devices (ISO 18562-3)
-
Surface compatibility testing of ventilators, oxygen masks, and nebulizers
-
Alveolar surfactant simulation for in vitro studies
-
Evaluation of lipid–protein interaction with breathing circuit components
-
Biocompatibility assessments of respiratory product surfaces
