Can I compare fruits and vegetables before and after washing?
Yes. One sample from the same product group can be tested before washing and another after the washing procedure to compare the change in AChE inhibition. For a meaningful comparison, the same product, similar sample quantity, the same Balancing Solution ratio, identical reaction times and the same test procedure should be used. This provides a practical way to compare the test reaction before and after the washing procedure.
